Scott Comeaux named Senior Vice President of Builder Development

HOUSTON, TX - May 15, 2007 – Scott Comeaux has been named Senior Vice President of Builder Development for American Home Mortgage’s Western Division. Based in Houston, Texas, he will be responsible for maintaining and expanding the company’s relationships with builder affinity partners throughout the western United States.

“For the past decade, Scott has been exclusively devoted to helping builders succeed by offering them builder-specific products responsive to their customers’ needs,” said AHM Western Division President John Johnston. “He thinks and executes like a builder, and as a result, he has been able to roll out exceptional programs and pricing that builders across the country have widely embraced.”

Most recently, Mr. Comeaux was vice president of builder sales for Home 123 and its predecessors RBC and Sterling Capital Mtg. in Houston, Texas. Prior to builder sales, he was in prime secondary marketing where he was responsible for product development, the sale and profitability of all non-agency products and a number of marketing and underwriting functions. He began his mortgage career with Mellon Mortgage and Farm & Home Savings in Houston, serving as a construction lending inspector, loan processor, loan originator, loan purchasing agent and wholesale lending representative. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Southwestern Louisiana in Lafayette, Louisiana.
